Advanced training for medical simulation instructors

This course is dedicated to teachers who already have experience in education using medical simulation. The entire course is devoted to high-fidelity simulation. Training content and instructors are selected individually, depending on the needs of the ordering party and the specialization of the faculty.

Main goals of the training

  • Use of high-fidelity simulation in practice,
  • Organization of teamwork during high-fidelity simulation classes,
  • Use of advanced features of simulators when conducting classes using high fidelity simulation method,
  • Use of dedicated audio-video systems when conducting classes using the high-fidelity simulation method,
  • Discussion of the various stages of collaboration with a medical simulation technician,
  • Principles of writing simulation scenarios for classes conducted using the high fidelity simulation method,
  • Advanced methods of conducting student assessment and debriefing, as well as debriefing techniques for medical education,
  • Assessment of students’ knowledge and skills using high-fidelity simulation,
  • Principles of conducting assessment of student’s technical skills,
  • Principles of conducting assessment of non-technical skills and their importance and impact on proper medical teamwork and prevention of adverse events.

Form of training realization:

  • Training in Rzeszow, Poland using the organizer’s equipment and infrastructure. Training can last one, two or three days, depending on the needs of the participant. Training is conducted in small training groups to ensure high effectiveness of training.
  • Training at the Participants’ premises, using the Participants’ equipment and infrastructure. Training last be one, two or three days, depending on the participants’ needs. In order to maintain high effectiveness of training, we suggest no larger than 8-person training groups.
  • Training in a remote form, using the latest tele-education techniques, such as: e-learning courses with extensive graphics and video, live interactive simulation sessions with active participation of trainees.
